Oncology Center

The Department of Medical Oncology is an integral part of GHC Hospitals. The overall mission and goal of Department is to deliver advanced Oncology care in a Compassionate way to all our patients, and to provide world class treatment. Our endeavor will be to achieve excellence in basic research, and cancer treatment through multidisciplinary collaboration with surgical and Radiation Oncology specialists. Evidence based Oncology will be focus of attention. We are well equipped for latest diagnostics which include CT scan, MRI, flowcytometry, immunohistochemistry and molecular diagnostics as well. The treatment of cancer patients shall be individualized according to the stage, clinical profile and performance status of the patient. The modern oncological therapies such as immunotherapy, anti-angiogenesis targeted therapies and Bone Marrow Transplant shall be incorporated into treatment algorithms.

The reality of  the day is to provide personalized cancer treatments to cancer patients  by driving assessment of risk stratification based on DNA microarray. We wish to provide basic Oncology services immediately and gradually through our network we will be able to provide Bone marrow transplant facilities to our patient at reasonable cost.
