The Dept of Gastrointestinal & HPB Surgery and Liver Transplant, provides comprehensive surgical management including advanced laparoscopic procedures in the field of Gastro Intestinal diseases involving the entire digestive tract e.g., the oesophagus, stomach, colon and the rectum. The Dept also deals with various Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) ailments including complex operations involving the biliary tract, pancreas and the liver. The team is specially trained in the field of liver transplant surgery and has been associated with more than 200 liver transplant operations.
